The Wasatch Collective Dancers make their debut performance in the Bay Area with Aggregate, an evening of original and commissioned work set by dance artists hailing from Utah's Rocky Mountains. Explorations of pure physicality and meditations on the self create a diverse and moving evening. The concert includes Stirrings, a phenomenally beautiful and fluidly unfolding work by world-renowned choreographer Charlotte Boye-Christensen. Selected Bios

Charlotte Boye-Christensen, a native of Copenhagen, Denmark, has fulfilled the demanding career of freelance choreographer, teacher and dancer for the past 15 years. She joined Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company in 2002 to assist in the artistic direction of the company and has created 21 new works on the Company.

She received her formal training at London Contemporary Dance School and at the Laban Centre in London (where she won the 1992 choreography award) and completed her MFA Degree at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.

Charlotte has been commissioned to create new works for Ballet West, The Milwaukee Ballet, Singapore Dance Theatre, The Arts Fissions Dance Company, Ballet de Camaguey in Cuba, New Danish Dance Theatre, Tisch School of the Arts' Second Avenue Dance Company in NYC, London Contemporary Dance School's Edge Dance Company and Verb Ballets in Cleveland. She has also choreographed at the Universities of Utah, Princeton, Rutgers, Long Beach, Sam Houston, Texas-Austin, at Southern Utah University, at The National School for Contemporary Dance in Denmark, The Kuopio and Oulu Conservatories in Finland, Arnheim Academy in the Netherlands, The Royal Danish Ballet School, University of the Americas in Mexico, and at the Bellas Artes International Choreography Competition in Mexico City. Charlotte has been invited to participate in "The Yard" Dance Colony in Massachusetts, The International Course for Professional Choreographers and Composers in England, the International Choreographic Platform in Portugal and to teach and choreograph at the International Dance Competition in Seoul. She has staged her work at the Metropolitan Museum of Photography in Tokyo, at the Kaleidoskop Theatre as well as at the New Opera house in Copenhagen. She has worked with Utah Symphony on Stravinsky's Soldier's Tale and Renard, directed the stage workshop at the famed Bauhaus Institute in Germany and more. She is the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship and grants from the Theatre and Arts Councils in Denmark, Germany, Mexico and Singapore amongst others, as well as a recipient of the Choo-San Goh Award for Choreographic Excellence.



Sarah Donahue holds a BFA in Dance from the University of Arizona, an MFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah, and is a Certified Laban Movement Analyst. She has served as a Lecturer of Dance at Utah Valley University and has taught and choreographed throughout the western states. She is the co-founder of My Turkey Sandwich, a dance/theatre company. Sarah dances professionally with Repertory Dance Theatre, where she also co-directs the Repertory Dance Theatre Community School.

Dance Mission Theater is a non-profit, multicultural dance center located in San Francisco's Mission District. In addition to offering a full range of adult and children's classes, Dance Mission Theater is available to rent for performances, rehearsals, workshops, and other events. It is also the home of Krissy Keefer's Dance Brigade, San Francisco's groundbreaking, social-change oriented modern dance company.
