WILPF General Meeting

Former SC Mayor Jane Weed-Pomerantz and Nia Shima-Franklin will be debriefing us as delegates from the UN Commission on the Status of Women. The presentation will highlight the successes of NGOs toward social and economic justice including the policies needed to further their work on the legal, civic, educational, medical and economic fronts. This is an opportunity for discussion, group collaboration, and learning on the importance of identifying women's rights as universal human rights. The event is free, donations accepted.
