Santa Cruz Bike Party
An Evening of Pedal-Powered Revelry
Friday, April 26th, 7-10pm
meet at the Bike Church, 703 Pacific Ave
Come one, come all! The Santa Cruz Bike Party is a mellow social ride with amplified music. So dust off your playa bike, grab the keys to the pedi-cab, or grab whatever wheels you've got and come join the party.
The Santa Cruz Bike Party is designed to build community, not to clash with car drivers, police, or residents. Riding as a group we also want to be careful not to injure one another. So please help keep things fun for everyone by following the guidelines below, and encouraging others to do so as well:
Stay in the right lane and NEVER ride on the sidewalk or against oncoming traffic.
Leave nothing behind.
Stop at red lights.
Ride straight, ride predictably.
Roll past conflict.
Leave no one behind. (i.e. at least a few people hang back to help with mechanical issues)
Ride sober. Know your limits; it's dangerous, and illegal to ride a bike inebriated.
