At 9:30 this morning, long time activist and Occupier GG Winter was evicted from her foreclosed Oakland home by 10 sheriffs and their drawn weapons. She has been trying to force the bank into fair negotiations for months and does not intend to stop now. We are not giving up!
An action is scheduled for 3pm today. We'll meet at the fountain inside the Kaiser Center at 20th and Harrison before heading over to the local branch of the bank that holds her mortgage.
