We’re celebrating the written word as a form of communication through letters, envelopes, and postcards. Join Santa Cruz Writes, as they invite visitors to engage in an introspective participatory project called Letters to the Self. People can answer questions about themselves before meeting a writer who will craft a letter or poem using a typewriter or handwritten with calligraphy on stationery.
Participants can also craft an envelope for their letters or write their very own letter to a person who has made history in Santa Cruz in our history gallery.
