Join us for a rally at the new Federal Building; 7th & Mission Sts. San Francisco at Noon on Tuesday, April 23rd.
President Obama is proposing $129 billion cuts to Social Security & Medicare.
These cuts would hurt seniors, veterans and people w/disabilities by
allowing inflation to eat into their benefits and force middle-income seniors
to pay higher premiums for Medicare. Social Security doesn’t add one dime to
the debt, & a typical 80-year-old woman will lose the equivalent of 3
months worth of food annually under this plan. 107 Members of congress
vigorously oppose these cuts. Join them!

Please note that Tuesday's scheduled demo has been moved to Thursday, April 25th at the same time and location to synchronize with a national day of action demanding President Obama cease his attacks on Social Security.
