Join Planet Drum Foundation staff, friends, and family for our monthly Workshop-Workday to continue community engagement in place-based community projects in San Francisco. This month we will be at the Glide Foundation's Graze the Roof project and the Tenderloin National Forest, in San Francisco's Tenderloin District.
Joined by Graze the Roof Project and Tenderloin National Forest staff, and community members, we will learn just what it takes to realize a successful urban gardens: the history of community projects, sustainable methods for gardening success, the challenges, local food security, and much more.
Please dress for varied weather (in layers), bring hats, sunglasses, and sun-block, and water.
We will have a potluck lunch at noon, so bring something to share. Additional snack refreshments will also be provided by Rainbow Grocery Cooperative.
