Democrat Gov Brown sends CHP with rubber bullets against tree sitters
KPFA's Flashpoints, 4/2/13 at 5 p.m., 94.1 FM started their show with a hair-raising eyewitness description by tree sitters on the phone of dozens of California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers, costing the taxpayers at least $100,000 a year and up plus benefits, viciously arresting non-violent tree sitters, including the CHP use of rubber bullets today near Willits, and then allowing huge old trees to be cut down. This can only occur if the Democratic Governor Jerry Brown and his Democratically controlled Legislature, with a super majority now Democrat, allow it. This is why you should register Peace & Freedom or Green.

Jerry Brown of course takes after his father, Democrat Pat Brown, who sent the National Guard against the Free Speech Movement sit-in at Sproul Hall in 1964, and let the National Guard throw the non-violent protesters down the stone stairs and then arrest them.
This is the same Democrat Jerry Brown who does not want the Democratic legislators promoting single payer healthcare because Democrats, like Jerry Brown, are just as much supporters of private profit insurance as are the Republicans.
Cindy Sheehan will be running for governor against Jerry Brown in 2014, but it will not be enough to vote for her to save Peace & Freedom Party; you now have to register Peace & Freedom as that is the only way the small parties can stay on the ballot after 2014: by having sufficient registered members. The Green Party may also have a candidate running against Jerry Brown, and the Green Party is also a worthwhile party which needs more registered members to stay on the ballot after 2014.
