We will meet at Rockridge BART station, at the bottom of the escalators, and stay for half and hour, then perhaps move to another nearby spot. We will be wearing hazmat suits and we'll have extras for you to wear, if you so choose.
This is a vigil in solidarity with the Japanese who are suffering from the effects of radiation from the Fukushima nuclear disaster. We will hold vigil and share information with any interested passersby, re: the disaster, its effects on the US, anti-nuclear activities here, radiation remediation and health.
