Charlotte O'Neal will debut a new documentary "MAMA C: URBAN SPIRIT IN THE AFRICAN BUSH" about her life, directed by Joanne Hershfield, share her poetry, and discuss the many programs at UAACC. Q &A & free food.

An evening with Charlotte O’Neal: artist, musician, activist and co-director of the United African Alliance Community Center (UAACC) in Tanzania, East Africa, where she has lived for over 40 years with her husband Pete O’Neal, former Chairman of the Kansas City Black Panther Party. Charlotte will debut this new documentary about her life, directed byJoanne Hershfield, share her poetry, and discuss the many programs at UAACC, such as the “Leaders of Tomorrow Children’s Home” as well as opportunities to visit and/or volunteer.
