Police continue to provoke violence in People's Park
Today the police provoked an attack in People's Park, standing and watching chaos unfold.
People have been curious as to what is happening in People's Park. People are threatening each other, violence is unraveling.
The breaking point is getting close to people getting beaten and killed.
At this point, People's Park should be noted as unsafe until the community can unravel the bribery the police have put on certain individuals who are clearly being instructed to threaten activists and shut down the park.

You want to take some action. Here's your opportunity to bring the movement back.

Every instance of abuse by the system is a shiny example. WATCH RT REPORTING ON THE SITUATION HERE IN THE USA: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ha9lPU1c60

I would second the motion to put tents in People's Park and create a work space such as Occupy the Farm.
Climate change and food distribution are too critical at this time for the Park to loose ground.
There has been a growing number of people who would like to work out a way to increase food production in Berkeley.
Commandeering the Park and turning into a fully productive space through collective gardening and collective decision making will transform the Park into something better.

This current example is par for the coarse for the UCPD as for 43 years the University has ratified giving favors to drug dealers, unscrupulous youth and homeless for favors to perpetuate strife in the Muwekma (Peoples) Park. While Muwekma (Peoples) Park is the least funded but most used park in the City of Berkeley is continuous assaults by University of Kamboomkeley. The assaults include taking vegetation (fruit trees) with community input or warning to bribing street kids to physically assaulting park protectors whether it is a tree-sitter or a gardener. The UCPD went so far as to bring in a convicted rapist to try to bring our tree-sitter down by pulling on his leg in front four UCPD which we have caught on camera. After this sent Drecco (a known snitch) intp the trees set uor tree-sitter up with attempted murder while himself against physical harm - self defense. In legal terms the University has no leg to stand on because the property was gain by the University through imminent domain which stipulates not used with in 7 years in goes back to the original owners which would be the Ohlone People hence the name to Muwekma which is Ohlone for People. In closing I would be very interested and supportive of taking the Park with tents and tree-sits.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
