This will start at Lake Merritt in Oakland Ca.
The Tree People (Tuk Pikuni) are launching a six day prayer and Direct Action for Mother Earth (Stop Driving Global Warming) and food security (Plant a Garden campaign). The fifth day is Green for Mother Earth (a Mayan contribution to the Medicine wheel) and where the Tree People use for Direct Action (the longest urban tree-sit in US history) and the only ones to remain in Oscar Grant Plaza after the 900 police raid.
