An extraordinary work of both cinematic and political activism, 5 Broken Cameras is a deeply personal, first-hand account of non-violent resistance in Bil'in, a village in Palestine's West Bank threatened by encroaching Israeli settlements and its so-called "separation barrier”. The film is shot almost entirely by Palestinian farmer Emad Burnat. Currently on a U.S. speaking tour, Emad’s brother, Iyad, will answer questions and lead discussion after the film. Sliding scale donation. FMI: SacReg4PalesitnianRights [at] gmail.com; 916-448-7157.
