3 Members of the Russian women punk band, Pussy Riot, have been sentenced to 2 years in prison for performing a protest song (the Punk Prayer) in a Moscow cathedral. An appeal hearing is to be held in a Moscow court room Wednesday October 10 beginning at approximately 9AM which is 10PM Tuesday, SF time. Please join with other supporters in a silent candlelight vigil in front of the Russian Consulate, 2790 Green Street . San Francisco, CA beginning at 7PM and lasting until the hearing is over.
