The increasing talk of war with Iran and the drama of the 'Arab Spring' have shifted attention away from the region's foremost challenge: the ongoing occupation and subjugation of the Palestinian people. As Israel consolidates its system of institutional discrimination, churches, unions, universities, and other civil society actors are with increasing intensity calling for pressure through boycott, divestment, and sanctions to be brought to end Israel's rights violations.
Join us on Thursday, October 4th at 7:30 pm at the Bechtel International Center, as leading human rights lawyer, activist, former Freedom Rider, and Gaza Freedom Flotilla participant, Huwaida Arraf addresses what the situation looks like on the ground today, and how you can play a role in bringing peace and justice to the region.
