SF Encampment Raided
In the early hours of September 28th, about 20 people were arrested as San Francisco police raided an occupy encampment that had been located in front of the Federal Reserve Bank on Market Street
A Federal Reserve Officer said the raid took place because the surrounding plant life was getting killed off by the campers.
A fence has been put up where the encampment once was. An employee cleaning up inside the fence protested having pictures taken of him.

The badge says "Federal Reserve" - the Fed is a private bank. It is not government. It's as if MacDonald's had their own private rent-a-cops mercenaires. Who did the actual arresting - SFPD or the fake cops?
It's an interesting argument. But the Federal Reserve is semi-private, semi-governmental, and knowing Congress, they probably granted the Fed's police law enforcement status.
I was live streaming at the raid, having been there visiting after speaking at a nearby Democratic club meeting about Occupy.
It was all SFPD, with Homeland Security and Federal Protective Services standing nearby.
