Forum on the 2012 Ballot Measures
On November 6, we will vote on eleven state ballot propositions and a very interesting and contentious local initiative. Several of the propositions are real puzzlers. As always, there are propositions that on the surface seem to be “no-brainers”, but may cause more problems than they solve – or will they? And then there’s the perpetual proposition where a “yes” vote is a “no”, and a “no” vote is a “yes.”
Join us to better understand the pros and cons of the propositions and discuss them with knowledgeable people who will present information and discuss debatable points of the propositions with you. All points of view are encouraged.
If you’ve recently changed your address, you’ll be able to re-register to vote at the meeting. We’ll also have information about how to apply for “Deferred Action for Immigrant Youth.”
Spanish language translation available at meeting.
For More Information: 831 465 8272
Free; donations gratefully accepted

Co-sponsored by: Santa Cruz Live Oak Grange and Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom Santa Cruz
