Local History of Juvenile Justice Reform by Raquel Mariscal hosted by Santa Cruz County Task Force on Justice and Public Safety.
The Santa Cruz County Task Force on Justice and Public Safety is a coalition of community groups, organizers, families, and youth creating mechanisms for accountability, advocacy and opportunity, while building power, expertise and knowledge through outreach, education, and change of policies that create racial, ethnic, and economic disparities in SC County Juvenile Justice system.

We will be having guest speaker: Raquel Mariscal
Raquel graduated from our very own UCSC, now works as Senior Consultant for the Annie E. Casey foundation; co- manages the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI), while continuing to address racial and ethnic disparities and other Justice system reforms.
