Following a successful event last Friday, OSC's DA GA will be focusing on creative ideas and actions to respond to the agressive and compassionless manner that the city deals with houseless campers.

Sleeping outside is illegal in Santa Cruz after 11pm and simply laying under a blanket is against the law.
What are people who don't have shelter to do at night?
Where are people to sleep? There is not nearly enough sheltered beds.

More than 310 citations have been written in the latest campaign targeting houseless campers.
150 campsites have been disposed of in the trash. Many people are reporting that personal documents and family photos
have been disposed of. THIS MUST STOP!

Join us on on the courthouse steps (OccuPlaza) on the Water St. side at 6pm Wednesday.

This is a great opportunity to network with other activists, learn about the problems they face, and share our solutions with other.

I have volunteered to help the Be-In Welcome Group. I need fellow OSC activists to share shifts at the welcome tables, helping the public find places to participate, and increase awareness of OSC and the Santa Cruz Eleven.
