SF Artists Say No To Islamophobia on Muni
Artists took to the street Sunday morning for a propaganda blitz against the hate speech of Pamela Geller.
Last week, San Francisco artists stamped out Islamophobia on San Francisco's public buses (see http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2012/08/17/18719719.php). Today they went out full force, placing alternative messages on three of the ten buses bearing the anti-Islam message of hate-monger Pamela Geller. Geller's group, the "American Freedom Defense Initiative" has been denounced as a hate group even by the ultra-Zionist Anti-Defamation League.
One of the bus ads that the artists remade had previously been sprayed with the international "No" symbol in yellow spray paint.
