The 37th San Jose Annual PRIDE Celebration is here on August 18 and 19 from noon to 7 PM at the San Jose Discovery Meadow Park located at West San Carlos St. and Woz Way in the Guadalupe River Park and Gardens.

Start the fun on “Community Day” at 12:00 p.m. with local talent, vendors, food, and fun; talents include a Traditional Aztec ceremony and Danza performances by Tlaloc-Chalchihuitlicue of San Jose.

Celebrate with Saturday Headliner Derek Jameson (singer, actor, dancer and philanthropist). Join the Master of Ceremony Diamond John, laugh with San Francisco Comedian Carrie Avritt, and marvel at the talented Cheer of San Francisco. Also, new this year, encounter PRIDE's 1st community local artist sidewalk chalk event called Avenue of Art. On Sunday the gates open at 11:15 a.m. for the Jay Bakker from the Revolution Church of New York Prayer Service.

Sunday Headliners feature Grammy Award Winning Singer and Tony Award Winning Actress Jennifer Holiday, the Dominican singing sensation Kat Deluna, and from the hit television show The Vampire Diaries Kat Graham sings her new single "Put Some Graffiti on Me," recent music sensation diva Erik Jayne and also performing are Circuit music sensations, DJ Tony Moran and performer Flava.

Advanced discount tickets are $10 and $20 at the festival gates on Sunday. GPCCSJ, Inc. strives to represent the community to provide inspiration, resources and hope to a diverse and multi-generational LGBT & allied community, so all are invited to celebrate “Equality for Everyone” with PRIDE.
