On July 29, 2012 a forum was held in San Francisco titled "Lessons From The ILWU Battle Against EGT In Longview And The Struggle Ahead". This forum exposed the real history of what happened at the ILWU Longview struggle and the role of the ILWU International in pushing a major concession contract and seeking to pit the ILWU against the Occupy movement.

§A police terror attack

Hundreds of arrests were made and police raided the homes of ILWU Local 21 workers and their families, beat them and sought to terrorize the membership of the local.
