The purpose of the San Francisco 99% Coalition is to work in coalition and offer support to groups which promote nonviolent advocacy for more equitable social, economic and environmental public policies. Its goals are: End the Wars, Tax the Rich, Care for the People, and Protect the Environment. It just had a highly successful forum on the National Defense Authorization Act, more properly knows and the Indefinite Detention Act. Read more. http://tinyurl.com/75jdgv3 .

But on Sunday, August 4, starting at noon, our object will be just to have fun and recharge our batteries for the fights ahead.
