Come out to this community forum sponsored by the Uhuru Solidarity Movement as part of the Oakland Freedom Summer Project - http://www.uhurusummerproject.org - an effort to bring economic development to the African community.

The event features Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African Socialist International and founder of the Uhuru Movement and the philosophy of African Internationalism as the keynote speaker. Yeshitela has tirelessly led the African People's Socialist Party with the goal of a united and liberated Africa. The APSP celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.

With Penny Hess, Chairwoman of the African People's Solidarity Committee. Hess is the author of Overturning the Culture of Violence which looks at the foundation of parasitic capitalism on slavery and genocide and led by the philosophy of African Internationalism, presents the role of white solidarity in the struggle for African liberation.

Also featuring Stephanie Midler, the Chairwoman of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement, an organization of white people and other allies working under the leadership of the African-led Uhuru Movement. We recognize our future in solidarity with the rest of humanity JOIN US!
