Oakland Meet-up to Watch the Keynote Presentation from Occupy Imperialism
on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/events/474407459251972/
We will gather to watch the keynote presentation to be given by Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African Socialist International at "Occupy Imperialism" National Convention of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement.
Tune in to http://www.livestream.com/uhurunews on next weekend - June 9th and 10th listen/watch the Convention:
Ask yourself:
• Why is Uhuru Solidarity Movement different from other organizations?
• Why is “Occupy Imperialism!” The June 9-10 National Convention
of USM different from any other kind of event I could attend?
• Why is it about more than just talk?
• What is my role in a movement overturning this unjust system?
Want to know the answers? Come to our Meet up in Oakland for Occupy Imperialism or listen online. It’s time for a people’s movement! Get involved in the movement that stands in solidarity with the movement for national liberation of African, indigenous and other oppressed peoples worldwide. Hear from Uhuru Solidarity Movement organizers and other people just like you who are sick of this unjust system!
We want to raise $200 from the West Coast towards the fundraising efforts of this Convention, known as "Reparations in Action" to the African working class led movement for self-determination.
Take the Pledge of Solidarity! Join the Uhuru Solidarity Movement!
