Dear cyclists of Santa Cruz: come out this Sunday and ride in solidarity to honor the life of Joshua Raine Laven.

Memorial Ride

Joshua "Squah" Raine Laven

Joshua was struck by an unidentified motorist while bicycling on Highway 1 north of Wilder Ranch State Park in the early hours of May 4th, 2012.

Joshua was cycling from Florida to San Francisco in memory of his deceased best friend when he stopped to spend time in Santa Cruz. He was known as a friendly face to many in the Bike Church and SubRosa communities.

Please join us on a bicycle ride to celebrate Joshua's life. We will end at the site of Joshua's death to establish a ghost bike in his honor.
