Hearing in SF City Hall Supervisors Chambers
Are you a senior or person with a disability living in an SRO Hotel? Do you want to improve living conditions in your building? The Land Use Committee at City Hall needs your input on how to improve conditions in SRO Hotels. Please join tenants and community organizations at this important hearing.
The City’s outrageous shortage of affordable housing falls heavily on seniors and people with disabilities, as well as low-income families and veterans. Single Room Occupancy (SRO) hotels have become a fallback in the City’s refusal to solve this problem. Many of them, however, are inaccessible, dangerous, and poorly maintained, as shown by a study of many months. Please attend this hearing.
