Ride for Zach
On the night of June 7th, 2011, 25 year-old Santa Cruznative Zachary Parke was cycling home from a
friend's house at UCSC when he was struck
by an automobile and left for dead.
His body wasn't found until the morning after.
One year later, on Saturday, June 9th, 2012, we will ride
to celebrate Zach, his memory, and his community.
Gathering time is 1PM at Holy Cross Church Park on Mission St.
Our Destination will be his memorial on Empire Grade,
where we can trade stories and enjoy some of
Zachary's favorite things.
