Coalition on Homelessness is celebrating 25 years of uniting community to forge solutions to homelessness. The Coalition organizes homeless people to create permanent solutions to poverty and homelessness, while protecting the civil and human rights of those forced to remain on the streets. The Coalition has been responsible for the creation collectively of thousands of housing units, housing subsidies, substance abuse treatment slots, space in emergency homeless programs, and staving off millions in reductions to cornerstone poverty abatement programs.
