Arizona's anti-immigrant law SB1070 permits local police to stop individuals perceived to be "undocumented" and demand to see their immigration documents. We will take a closer look at the Supreme Court's decision on SB1070 and how it impacts immigration enforcement.
We will also examine how the changing landscape of immigration enforcement, detention, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)'s stated desire to focus on removal of "criminal" immigrants through prosecutorial discretion affects Asian and Pacific Islander communities.
