Santa Cruz Pride Parade and Festival 2012, a program of The Diversity Center.
Join us for our 38th Annual Santa Cruz Pride event!
Start your day off with the Santa Cruz Pride Parade which kicks off at 11:00am on Sunday, June 3, 2012, or better yet come and join the parade! Contingents gather at 9:30am at Cathcart & Pacific (near Kianti's). Then at 11am the parade moves north on Pacific to Cooper (by the Regal Cinema 9).
North of Cooper St., the Santa Cruz Pride street festival will run until 2:00pm on Pacific Ave. (from Cooper to Water). Stop at the main stage at Pacific & Locust (near Bookshop Santa Cruz) and see proclamations from the City and County. Also see Lex, Frootie Flavors and other acts including CHEER San Francisco! Stroll along the booths on Pacific and see the resources and attractions available in Santa Cruz. Then, dance your heart out with DJ Reb at the dance area on the north end of Pacific Ave. (near Jamba Juice).
NOTE: The festvial will NOT take place in San Lorenzo park!
We Need Volunteers!
Help make Santa Cruz Pride a success. Volunteer for an hour or two, or for the whole day! Lots of opportunities available.

Parade: kicks off at 11 a.m., starts at Pacific Avenue and Cathcart in downtown Santa Cruz
Festival: 11a.m.-2 p.m., Pacific Ave. from Cooper St. to Water St.
After Party: 12 noon-8 p.m., at Motiv (1209 Pacific Ave.) with dj a.d. and performances by Lex Is-Word, The Royals, and special guests
