WHO: Family of Alan Blueford, Oakland Community
WHAT: There will be rally in front of the County Board of Supervisors office, across the street from the DA offices to demand justice for Alan Blueford. Following the rally, participants will march from Coliseum BART to the city's townhall meeting at Acts Full Gospel Church where they will engage in NON-DISRUPTIVE civil disobedience.
WHEN: TODAY, May 23rd. Rally begins at 3:00 PM. 5:30 pm - March from Colliseum BART to city townhall at Acts Full Gospel Church, 1034 66th Ave.
WHY: Oakland is suffering from an epidemic of police murders of innocent citizens. The family and community are demanding the following:
- *Jail the officer
- *Release the name of the officer
- * Launch an independent investigation
- *Take the officer off paid leave
- *Fire the officer from OPD
