Hayes Valley Farm Early Summer Plant Sale

Date:
Sunday, May 27, 2012
Time:
12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Event Type:
Fundraiser
Organizer/Author:
Margaretha Haughwout
Location Details:
450 Laguna St. San Francisco, CA

On Sunday, May 27, Hayes Valley Farm will offer its second seasonal plant sale of the year, which will focus on edible and beneficial plants, as well as these plants in combination. The sale will celebrate summertime crops for San Francisco micro climates, and the prospect of an abundant autumn harvest. San Franciscans will have the opportunity to ask their gardening questions and learn about planting guilds, microclimates, plant uses and functions, and more. Seedlings will be primed to be put in the ground (or in pots, for some), and they will be ready to harvest and serve up on a plate or a bowl of soup by the end of the summer at the latest! The sale will be held on May 27th from 12-5p; come early for the best selection!
