The Spit Brothers (est. 2005) are a live band and production team based in San Francisco, focused primarily on a dubstep, dub, afrobeat, and funk influenced sound.

Co-Founders and producers Bakir and Dubsworth direct the Spit Brother's sound and also co-run Dubs Alive Records. http://soundcloud.com/dubsalive

Their live sets showcase their deep heavy beats with intense live instrumental performances. Band members often perform on trumpet, bass, guitar, drums, percussion, organ, synthesizer, and melodica.

For The Blend, the group will be performing a special new live dub fader set featuring band members Dubsworth and Danger Deluxxe. This set will feature a combination of collaborative and solo works from both producers. Listen up for a blend of heavy sub-waves, rich melodic elements, and layers of dub chamber effects.
