Join Joanne Griffith, editor of Redefining Black Power: Reflections on the State of Black America (City Lights Publishers), as she returns to Marcus Books in Oakland for a special open forum event designed with Bay Area youth in mind. What are your thoughts on the way the Trayvon Martin case is being handled? What are the issues that concern young people in your community? What do you see as the solutions? And the ways to make them happen?

The floor is yours from 6.30-8pm. Bring your parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles for an evening of open dialog and community building.
