Join City Slicker Farms in a hometown celebration of The Essential Urban Farmer, from Oakland’s very own urban farming experts, Novella Carpenter and Willow Rosenthal. Come ask the authors your most pressing farming questions; hear from members of the leading Bay Area agricultural organizations; mingle with fellow Bay Area farmers (and friends of farmers); and eat, drink, and be merry - Oakland-style. This event is FREE and all proceeds from book and food sales will go to support City Slicker Farms and its food justice efforts in West Oakland.

RSVP is required, please see details on the Event Website.
