Join us for a screening of this powerful documentary about the fight to save ethnic studies in Arizona. The film follows the journey of Tuscon High School students and teachers who are on the frint lines of the battle to save their school\'s Mexican American Studies Program from a vicious attack by state legislators and the district superintendent.
The film will run for 70 minutes and we will have time for discussion and updates on the struggle afterwards. Light refreshments will be provided.
A donation of $5-10 is requested as this is a fundraiser to send Bay Area activists to the Socialism 2012 Conference in Chicago this summer.
