Wells Fargo Protest
Hundreds of protesters marched through downtown San Francisco mid-day, arriving at the shareholders meeting of Wells Fargo, an American Bank under heavy criticism for its practices, including housing evictions, and support of government policies. Inside the building where the meeting occurred, across from a Wells Fargo bank, activists formed a human barricade to prevent the meeting from starting on time, while outside, others blockaded some of the entrances. Others managed to get into the shareholders meeting itself and disrupted the proceedings before being escorted out.
