Born N Raised in Frisco is an ongoing herstory project of POOR Magazine's Uncle Al Robles Living Library ...chronicling/publishing/presenting the stories, poetry, music and media of people who have undergone the trauma of eviction, removal, gentriFUKation, displacement and/or forced migration out of San Francisco due to poverty, redlining, and/or re-devil-opment.
Born N raised in Frisco was one of a series of revolutionary meda, art and organzing classes taught/presented at PeopleSkool's Winter Session 2012 by community/poverty scholars. PeopleSkool/Escuela de la gente is a revolutionary people-led education for all Peoples outside the instution!
POOR Magazine/Prensa POBRE is a poor people-led/indigenous people-led, grassroots, arts familia creating media, education and art on poverty, racism, disability, indigenous resistance and im/migraiton locally and globally.
