The New Leaders Council presents “The Progressive Punchline Comedy Show”, a night of comedy by W. Kamau Bell, silent auction, and an opportunity to network with and support the Bay Area's young progressive community. The New Leaders Council (NLC) is a national nonprofit whose mission is to train and support the next generation of progressive political entrepreneurs – those who are leading industries, setting trends, and building institutions that support robust civic and political life in the US. The event features special guest W. Kamau Bell, socio-political comedian, founding member of Laughter Against the Machine, and host of a new show on FX in partnership with Chris Rock.
