Phat Beet FACEBOOK-A-THON

Video Action Network has joined the Food Justice Movement in North Oakland and have created a "1st-of-its-kind" PHAT BEETS FACEBOOK-A-THON. We are gathering to find new members, get 1000 'Likes' on Phat Beets Facebook page, and get 100 new Beet Box CSA orders.

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. The Beet Box is a weekly box of pesticide-free and organic locally-grown fruits and vegetables. Your subscription directly supports small-scale, sustainable farmers, and helps families suffering from diet-related disease.

1. "Like" us on Facebook
2. Tell your Facebook friends about Phat Beets that we need their help by joining our Facebook page
3. Interact on the Phat Beets Wall and share your pledge of support, what inspires you about Phat Beets programs.
4. Sign up for a Beet Box subscription.

There are lots of ways we can use your support. Our goal is get 1000 "Likes" on Phat Beets Facebook page and get 100 new CSA orders.

PHAT BEETS FACEBOOK-A-THON runs April 1st thru May 15th. You can interact as often as you like to help us reach our goal. Stay tuned for Video testimonies and interviews with the farmers, gardeners, and volunteers, recipes, green ag - urban farm culture. Eat Veggies!

Video Action Network will be there at the Phat Beet farmers market every Satuday thru May 15th to host a video workshop on food justice. Come and tell us about yourself, your organization, and what food justice means to you. We will post the videos to the Phat Beet Facebook page.
