Occupying Berkeley Rally and March: Defend the Public Commons From Police Oppression
This is a event which progresses from People's Park down to MLK Park, passing by UC Berkeley along the way.
This is an anti-police oppression march, and will pass by the UC police station and Berkeley City police station.
But there are also other related topics for discussion ranging from the future of People's Park, opens spaces, Block By Block (privatized security company), Business District Associations, and more.
The march will end in a rally in front of Berkeley City Council. On the agenda for the evening is debate on People's Park, as well as a discussion on the UC stay-away orders given to protesters from Occupy Cal.

In recent days we have put up a tree-sit to defend the Muwekma (peoples) Park which the University admits its is coming for. The UC police use Park degenerates (Dave) to intimidate Tree sitter from defending the Park and then brutalizes the tree by cutting down 20 branches. The University wants to level the Park (42 years of resistance) by and or in the summer when the students leave for break.
