This Week: Trayvon, Kony and Jamaican Pigs: 3 MORE Reasons for Black Power
PLAYING FROM 7PM TO 9PM EST
BREAKING NEWS: Enjoli Mixon, sister of Lovelle Mixon, will be interviewed live tonight on ARN to discuss the police shooting of her brother. Dont miss this! View online at http://www.inpdum.org! In the U.S., colonial violence and gentrification has once again reared its terroristic head in the form of the killing of Trayvon Martin - exposing the unity of the opportunistic white population and the U.S. colonial state under the leadership of the U.S. white ruling class. Trayvon's killer, a white man named Zimmerman, is walking the streets free. In central Africa forces like Yoweri Museveni (Uganda) and Paul Kagame (Rwanda) facilitate U.S. imperialism's theft of African resources while the campaign to capture Kony serves as a justification for more intense U.S. military occupation in that region. In Jamaica, 21 Africans were killed by the police in the first week of March alone. 45 Africans have been killed this year so far! Jamaica has a population of 2.7 million people - about the same size as Chicago. Meanwhile, the average African worker in Jamaica makes less than $600 per month in an economy controlled by U.S.imperialism. The police serve to repress this frustrated and starving population.
