Students and members of the campus & Santa Cruz community will come together to discuss both the March 1st campus strike and March 5th occupation of the state capitol.
Here are some tentative ideas for an agenda -- anyone can add to this list as it will be approved by the assembly on Monday:
- Reflections/critiques of March 1st campus shutdown and the March 5th mobilization to Sac
- How to help our fellow students at UC Berkeley being charged with participating in the Nov. 9 actions
- Where do we go from here? May 1st is International Workers' Day and Occupy has called for global action
- Structure of this group
- Strategy & Goals
The meeting will likely take a couple hours so feel free to show up whenever you can make it.
*If you are not able to make the meeting but have commentary about March 1/5 that you think those in attendance should hear, you can email it to: tentucsc [at] gmail.com
