The award-winning dramatic film, “Hunger,” tells the story of the heroic life and death of Bobby Sands and other Irish freedom fighters. Their 1981 hunger strike, against extreme abuse at the hands of British authorities in the infamous Long Kesh prison, galvanized worldwide support. Along with the film will be a presentation on the still unfinished Irish national liberation struggle. (Advisory: This film contains graphic and disturbing imagery)
There will be time for discussion following the film and presentation
