Meeting: Journey to Creech & Jeju Island
Wednesday, March 14th, 6pm
Mudrakers Café
2801 Telegraph Ave
Berkeley 94705
Will YOU go to Jeju Island?
Jeju Island has been under attack and for the past 5 years, the residents of the island have been fighting the building of a naval base, especially for the U.S. military’s sea-based component of its ballistic missile defense system.
U.S. Ballistic Missile Defense System.
How can we tolerate this?
What more can we do to halt U.S. imperialism and military aggression besides email the governor and politicians of South Korea?
How are we going to bring severely lacking international attention to the plight of these people and this island endangered?
We have put feelers out to CodePINK National for financial support to help us get to Jeju Island.
We are having a Journey to Creech meeting this Wednesday, March 14th, 6pm at Mudrakers Cafe. We will add Journey to Jeju Island on the agenda too.
PLEASE come 6pm Wednesday evening to this very important meeting, even if you have no intention to travel either to Creech or to Jeju, to share your ideas and strategies.
Mudrakers Café, 2801 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley. Carpool 5:45pm SHARP from the Ashby BART station. Call Leeza from noon-4pm for a ride 510-845-6156 or call 510-540-7007 anytime for more information!
