Join us as we plan for the National Day of Action tentatively planned for April 16th - we'll meet at Mudraker's Cafe, 2801 Telegraph Ave, Berkeley from 11-1pm
Some of our ideas - but ideas are plentiful, bodies are scarce! - for the National Day of Actions include:
1) Large banner drops, freeway bannering
2) Occupying various military and media locations including recruiting stations, broadcasting stations, war profiteering corporate headquarters as Lockheed Martin, etc.
3) Targeting weapons manufacturers (as we provide at least 70% of the world's weapons)
4) Governing bodies statement: as getting city councils, congresspeople, etc., to issue statements of NO WAR ON IRAN
5) Make phone calls, write letters, emails to government officials
6) Launch educational campaign: survey, quarter page info/fact sheets, talking points
7) Join the Nuclear Free Zone movement, especially for the U.S. - and the middle east
8) House 'parties'
9) Marches & rallies culminating in teach-ins
10) Occupy AIPAC
11) Signs in home, business, religious building windows: NO WAR ON IRAN
12) Motivating the masses - we know we need more people out on the street for longer if we are going to be successful in preventing yet another war on Iran.
13) Stenciling drone shadows around and about town
