This is the ninth session for a weekly class on A New Economy, which is facilitated by Derek Tennant. This class examines our current economic system and explores alternatives that may augment or replace it in equitable and sustainable ways.

This week we will ask hard questions about or standard ways of thinking about the economy. Do we benefit from believing that we “own” property? Is a person “entitled” to a profit? Is the government “responsible” for providing income during our retirement? These questions (and many more) deserve some close attention as we craft our future together.

Note: The class is designed so that if you have not attended the previous sessions, you can still enjoy and participate in the individual sessions.
