Musaique is a group of 10 musicians and peacemakers from the Middle East, using music as a bridge of solidarity, understanding and cooperation between people of different faiths, cultures and nations throughout the region.
Members of Musaique are Jordanian, Israeli, Egyptian and Palestinian; of Muslim, Jewish and Christian faiths. Sharing the rich culture of Middle Eastern sacred song, poetry, and village music, they perform traditional and original compositions played on classical Middle Eastern and modern instruments.
Formed in 2008, Musaique has done workshops and concerts in several different counties in the Middle East and Europe. This is their first and only public appearance and concert in the US.
