This is the eighth session of our weekly class on A New Economy, which is facilitated by Derek Tennant. This class examines our current economic system and explores alternatives that may augment or replace it in equitable and sustainable ways.
Any sustainable and successful solution to today’s problems will include fundamental changes to how our economy functions. In this session we begin the process of defining what we want from our economic system, in order to see if particular solutions will be adequate. Less about facts and figures, and more about bringing our core values into awareness, we will discuss some of the underlying assumptions that create our economy today.

You cannot have an economy with a sick environment. Over 7 billion people worldwide chewing up the environment and only 2% of old growth left. The only thing left is to stop capitalism (economy), plant a garden and STOP Driving (org). It's called survival.
